Appeal by Hindu nationalists of MP regarding Ranveer Allahabadia-Samay Raina: Another setback for Ranveer Allahabadia, followers on social media are continuously decreasing, people are not ready to forgive
The troubles of YouTubers Ranveer Allahabadia and Samay Raina, who made shameful comments about parents on the show ‘India’s Got Talent’, are increasing. A group of Hindu nationalists associated with the Sanskriti Bachao Manch in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, protested against Ranveer Allahabadia and Samay Raina on Tuesday. They raised slogans against the YouTubers and comedians and submitted a memorandum to the TT Nagar police station of Bhopal demanding registration of an FIR.
Sanskriti Bachao Manch president Chandrashekhar Tiwari said, “A video of Ranveer Allahabadia and Samay Raina is going viral, in which an attempt has been made to insult Indian culture, civilization in the name of standup comedy. I do not want to dirty my mouth by repeating that comment. India is known for its culture and civilization.
Those who will try to erase that identity, Sanskriti Bachao Manch will not tolerate it. We have come here to submit a memorandum to the police and demand to register an FIR against them.” Chandrashekhar Tiwari demanded the police to register an FIR in this regard and immediately arrest both the accused. Tiwari has also demanded the central government to ban such OTT platforms and take strict action against them by bringing them under government control.

He said, “I also request the youth to unfollow them and bring them down to earth. If Ranveer Allahabadia and Samay Raina enter Bhopal, we will smear their faces with soot and make them wear a garland of shoes. We are submitting a memorandum to register a case against them.”
TT Nagar police station in-charge Sudhir Arjaria said that a memorandum has been received to take action against Ranveer Allahabadia and Samay Raina for objectionable and obscene comments made during a show. We will take legal opinion in this matter and take further action accordingly.

Notably, a formal complaint has been filed against YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina and the organisers of ‘India’s Got Latent’ following a series of allegedly controversial and offensive comments on the show. The complaint, filed with both the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission, alleges that abusive language was used and demands strict legal action against the accused. The controversy started after comments made by Allahabadia during an episode titled ‘India’s Got Latent’ on YouTube were deemed objectionable and derogatory.
Ranveer Allahabadia’s followers decreased
According to a report by influencer marketing intelligence platform, Koruz, Ranveer Allahabadia’s Instagram account has lost about 4153 followers. Not only this, his another account ‘BeerBiceps’ has also lost 4205 followers.
May lose brand deals
The report further claims that Ranveer is also likely to lose YouTube subscribers and this controversy may also affect his brand deals. Earlier, the YouTuber has collaborated with brands like Spotify, Mountain Dew, Amazon Prime Video, Intel and Wow Skin Science.
What is the controversy related to Ranveer Allahabadia
Actually Ranveer Allahabadia is facing criticism for his recent comments on India’s Got Talent. Ranveer Allahabadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, had allegedly asked a contestant an objectionable question related to body parts during a recent episode of the show and offered to perform an obscene act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The outrage reached a peak when he asked an indecent question about parents.
Ranveer has also apologized
Amidst all this, Ranveer also issued an apology through a video statement. He said, “My comment was not only inappropriate but also not funny. Comedy is not my specialty. I have come here just to say sorry. Many of you asked if I wanted to use my platform like this and obviously, I don’t want to use it like this. I am not going to give any context, justification or reasoning behind what happened. I have come here just to apologize.”
